Tulsa Botanic Garden is offering an illuminated garden escape from the holiday hustle and bustle with their second annual Garden of Lights, running each Thursday through Sunday from Nov. 29 to Jan. 5. Visitors can stroll through new whimsical displays in the Children’s Discovery Garden as well as elegant views and dazzling lights with holiday music while winding through the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces. Features new this year include “Frost Bison”, light curtains and custom-created Art Deco lanterns.
Every night of the event warm beverages, including cash bar, and s’mores kits will be available for sale. Fire pits will be available for roasting marshmallows. A food truck will also be scheduled each night in Nov. and Dec.. Train rides will be available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. except for Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 when golf cart rides will be offered. Rides will take visitors for a view of the lights from across the Garden’s lake.
Inside the Garden’s Mabee Grange, visitors can add their wish to the Wishing Tree and take photos at the selfie photo booth. Botanical St Nick will be available for informal visits and photos (bring your camera) on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from Dec. 5 – 21, 6- 9 p.m. Sunday evenings will feature craft cocktails and music from 6 to 8 p.m. inside the Mabee Grange.
The large scale model train exhibit by the Tulsa Garden Railroad Club will be on display in the Mabee Grange each night Dec. 12-15 and Dec. 19-22. Members of the Tulsa Garden Railroad Club will be staffing the 600 square ft. display featuring multiple trains in holiday scenes.
Tickets are $15 for ages 13+ and $5 for ages 3-12. Children 2 and under are free. Members of the Botanic Garden receive discounted pricing of $10 for ages 13+.

(During the event, the Botanic Garden will alter its daytime hours closing at 3 p.m. (instead of 5 p.m.) Thursday through Sunday. Hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will remain 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
