The third Sunday of every month is Funday Sunday. It’s a FREE admission day loaded with fun for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy art-making stations throughout the museum, special exhibition-themed programming, open galleries and our gardens. Special activities and events are from noon to 4 pm, but admission is free all day.

Storytime: Dorothea Lange- 12:30 and 3:30 pm
Join us as we read a selection of books all about Dorothea Lange.
Poetry Together: Dorothea Lange’s America — 1 and 3 pm.
Families are invited to join local poet and National Geographic author, Sasha Martin, as she kicks off her “poetry Together” series. During this fun and interactive event, Sasha will prompt museum guests to create poetry inspired by the new exhibit Dorothea Lange’s America. Lines produced by guests will be combined into a unified poem. Be prepared to use all your senses as you explore the sights and sounds of the Dust Bowl!
Joel Daniel Phillips: Artist Gallery Talk – 1:45 pm.
Join local artist, Joel Daniel Phillips, as he discussed the FSA history and the process of editing embedded in it in connection with Dorothea Lange’s America.

Live Drawing: Joel Daniel Phillips – 2:30 – 4 pm.
