If you are one of those that seek out small, unique eateries, you’ve come to the right place.  The locals prefer these places to the chains, hands down  Keep in mind that things slow down a bit earlier in the evening here than in the city – waiting past 8 PM to eat will greatly narrow your choices.

For those of you who prefer lighter, more creative fare, try Buffalo Hills in Pawhuska, the Post Oak Lodge just north of Tulsa, or the Elm Street Cafe in Fairfax.
